This course is intended to provide individuals, particularly those in community-based coaching roles in the Australian sports industry, with the necessary skills and knowledge to aid participants in preparing for sports competitions. This includes researching and selecting suitable competition opportunities, devising competition strategies, supplying pre-competition information, and accessing support staff and resources. This unit is suitable for both volunteers and professionals who work in sports clubs and organisations.

Entry Requirements
The unit requires foundational skills such as reading, oral communication, numeracy, problem-solving, and self-management.
Assessment Requirements
Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks. These are detailed in the Assessment Activities section.
Course Duration (100% Online)
Self-Paced – It is expected students may complete the course within 4 hours (depending on experience levels) This can be completed over a number of sessions. Your course progress will be saved.
Students are expected to complete all learning and assessment activities within six (6) months of enrolment. Failure to complete all requirements may result in your enrolment being disabled/cancelled.

Payment Terms
Payment for individual participants is required to be completed upfront via:
– Credit Card Online
After payment has been received by LA First Aid the following will occur:
– participant will receive an email confirmation containing the details of the course they are booked into (including time, location, course type); AND
– receipt of payment.
Once training has successfully been completed, each participant will receive an email to log in and download a PDF version of their certificate.

All learning activities are contained in the online course and may be presented in a variety formats. This may include, but is also not limited to: video presentations, slide presentations, online learner manuals, fact sheets and/or other downloadable documents.
